Job Description
A full-sevice med/surg hospital, affiliated with a major, Ivy-league Medical School, and located within the city of Boston, is recruiting for a Board Certified/Board Eligible, Consultation/Liaison (Psychosomatic) Psychiatrist to join the existing consultation service. Responsibilities include consults to medical and surgical inpatient units and to the emergency department, furthering the development of psychiatric services in primary care settings, and participation in the teaching activities of the Department. Must hold (or be eligible for) Commonwealth of Massachusetts Medical License. A Clinical Faculty appointment is anticipated. Regrettably, this position is not able to support J1 Waivers, but H1B candidates are encouraged to inquire.
